Order Processing Deadlines

3-Day, 2-Day or Overnight Order Processing
For overnight and 2-day shipping, orders received before 3 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday (except holidays) will be processed the same day. For 3-day shipping, orders must be received before 1 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday (except holidays) in order to be processed the same day. Orders received after the cutoff time will be processed the next day (or, if the next day is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the next business day). We will send you an order shipped confirmation when we have finished processing your order and our transportation partner has picked it up for delivery.
Our transportation partners do not process orders on the weekend. Therefore, if you place an order after the cutoff time on Friday, you may experience a delay between your order shipped confirmation e-mail and the actual shipment of your order.
- Perishable Items
Some of the items we sell are considered "perishable". This means that the item is prepared fresh for you at the time you order it. Because the item is fresh, it is kept refrigerated during shipping. Perishable packages are not in transit on Saturday and Sunday, so for this reason any item noted as perishable must be placed by strict deadlines in order to avoid weekend transit.
- Shipping Carriers
Orders shipped via Standard Shipping will be shipped via the US Postal Service or UPS. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that your order will be shipped via a specific method when you choose standard delivery unless you have a P.O. Box. If you have a P.O. Box, all orders will be shipped via the US Postal Service.
Orders shipped via 3-Day, 2-Day and Overnight are all shipped via UPS. Please note when using expedited shipping methods we cannot request or guarantee delivery by a specific time. Generally UPS will deliver your package by 8 pm on the estimated date of delivery. Due to the fact that UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses, we will be unable to ship via an expedited method to these addresses.
Weekend Delivery
Expedited orders shipped via UPS (Overnight, 2-day, and 3-day) are delivered Monday through Friday only. Orders shipped via USPS (Standard) are delivered Monday through Saturday. Delivery is not available on Sundays.
Default Shipping Address
Your default shipping address is the one used on your most recent order. At Checkout, you can change your shipping address by clicking the "change" button located directly beneath the default address. This will allow you to choose another address, or enter a new address in the spaces provided.
You can change your shipping address at any time in the Shipping Addresses area of Your Account. You can add, delete, or edit any of your shipping addresses. Changes you make via the Shipping Addresses area of Your Account will not affect orders you have already placed.
Items on Order
If you notice that one of the items that you want to purchase is currently out of stock, there will be a date listed next to the product stating when we will be receiving the product back in stock. This time frame is an estimate, and is solely dependent on when the manufacturer can get the product to our distribution center. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide exact arrival dates for specific items.
You may place the backordered item into your order along with the items we do have in stock. The items we do currently have in stock will ship immediately and we will ship your backordered item as soon as we receive it back into stock with the shipping service selected on your original order. You'll receive an e-mail confirmation when your backordered item has been shipped.
Occasionally an item's status will change after you place your order, but before we process it. In this case, we will send the item as soon as we can at no additional shipping cost to you.
If the first portion of your order has already shipped, and you've realized that you cannot wait for the backordered item, you may cancel it easily.

Your complete satisfaction is our ultimate goal. You may return any non-prescription item shipped by drugstore.com or ds fulfillment inc., keeping the following in mind:
We'll also provide free return shipping if your return is the result of our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item, etc.) and for our 100% color guaranteed products. In other cases, a return postage fee of $4.99 will apply.
Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will be issued within 30 days and an e-mail confirmation will be sent.

Returning Prescription Items
If your prescription order was damaged in shipping, please call us immediately at 1-207.363.5077. To protect the health and safety of our customers, we do not accept returns on prescription items.
